Graduation Ceremony

Before the start of BEA's summer vacation, we hold a small graduation ceremony for the BEA kids who made it through the entire school year with us.  During the ceremony, our teachers present their students who passed their courses with us an official certificate from BEA and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). BEA received accreditation as an educational institution from the MoEYS and the Ministry of the Interior in August 2010, so we can issue officially recognized certificates for our English language and teacher training courses.  Government accreditation gives BEA the same status as a secondary school in Cambodia.  These certificates will give the BEA kids an edge over others looking for work in the English-dominated tourist sector, which offers a much safer work environment and higher salaries.
